I guess my story goes back to when I was a kid. I have always loved making craft items and making art. In high school I took an Ornamental Horticulture class by mistake because all the business office classes were filled. It turned out to be one of the best mistakes of my life. I learned about plants, gardening and best yet, it taught me floral design. When I am not beading, I am doing floral design work. One of the greatest honors for me was to be able to do my daughters flowers for her wedding. This past June, I was able to do flowers for my sons wedding also. My second love, however, are BEADS! Everything shiny is fair game truly is my story line. I taught myself how to make jewelry. One of my favorite jewelry skills is wire wrapped jewelry. I absolutely love it. I love shopping too. I will sometimes hit the second hand stores and Vintage shops in our area and if I can find a piece of vintage jewelry that is God ugly but the beads have potential, I will buy it and get home, take it apart and make something else.
Pure joy for me. That brings me to my next love, Vintage jewelry! I am hooked on everything 40’s or 50’s and also 80’s. When I saw a clip for Etsy on the Rachel Ray show in 2007, I knew I would be able to combine my love of jewelry and be able to share it with you on Etsy.
Beading is a great stress releaser. I love it and I love being able to share it with you.

On a personal note, I have been married to my best friend for the last 30+ years. We have raised three beautiful kids and now I have a wonderful son-in-law and a wonderful daughter-in-law. I have three awesome dogs that I adore, August, Julio and Webster. I have to give my family props because sometimes I get into these crazy beading moods and they have to put up with me. Oh well.
